But before this happens there has to be a falling away, to support this statement, I read three or four days ago that a recent study came out that said over 50% of the US population do not believe in the so-called traditional version of GOD, (judeao/christian) version or Biblical; they are making a god of their own liking in their own minds and hearts that comes no where near the Biblical description of the Bible.
This conversation started out with the numbers game which several people have done over the years, some which I find very interesting some are totally stupid, or at least they seem to be to me. But I do not condem others for attempting to find or for searching for a method to determine who the anti'guy is, just be careful of whom you mark as a suspect because I have seen many in my 28 years of being a christian loose faith when their person turns out not being the anti-guy so sister please do not lose faith if he does not turn out to be whom you suspect although I personally believe he is.

hey Im hearing different comments about Obama being the Antichrist. But im a bit confused.....How can the Antichrist take power if the CHURCH of God (his people) have not been captured in the rapture? How can the antichrist come while the church is still on the earth you ask? Well there are several different views about the second coming, pretrib, midtrib, posttrib, etc. Pre. Believes the rapture will come before the tribulation begins, mid believes the rapture will come in the middle of the tribulation, post believes that there is only one taking away or none at all and that it occurs after Christ has returned to the earth.
My personal opinion from being a christian for 29 years and studying the scriptures at length brings me to the belief in a mid-tribulation rapture. Primarily because the tribulation is said to be divided into the "Tribulation" and the "Great Tribulation" or also called the "Time of Jacobs Trouble".
From what I can discern from the scriptures is that the church will be taken away at the midpoint of the tribulation when the anti-guy is revealed as such, or within a close proximity to the middle of the seven year tribulation.
Alot of pretribber's will say that is ludicrious and that the examples of Noah, Lot, Elijah, and Enoch are examples of a pretrib rapture, yet only two of these examples are of individuals actually being taken away, Enoch and Elijah, in both of these examples during their time judgement was still waiting, it had not begun yet, whereas Lot and Noah were left on the earth during the judgements of their days.
People will argue until they are blue in the face concerning their opinions and I will not spend anymore time trying to explain mine here, only that the Pretribber's have alot to loose if the "beast system" or the "beast government" (one of Satans attempts at a trinity, that being the beast world system, ie government and economic, the beast religious system or global religion, and the beast ruler guy himself.) comes into being while we are still here because if the governments of the world unite and start a new financial order, then tell everyone to receive a mark (which I believe is nothing more than an RFID) those pretribbers will deny this as being of the devil because the church is still here, themselves believeing that these events cannot occur because christians are still on the earth.
Anyway, the antiguy can be on the earth while the church is still on the earth because it is the spirit of christ, the Holy Spirit, that is stopping the spirit of lawlessness from commanding all the world to its liking.

The problem is with you that you are having a theory. And that is not the truth. In the bible it is clearly stated that when Jesus comes that will be the last hour. He is coming but there is no rapture in the meaning that the christians would disappear before he comes.
