Obama’s religion: christian, muslim, universalist, or “god”?

It was well spread that Barack Obama is a Muslim, even me myself wrote some articles that makes this distinction unclear, like the article Obama in muslim turban and robes – does it mean something? Obama’s official site about the semirings says this, I cite:

“Barack Obama is a committed Christian. He was sworn into the Senate on his family Bible. He has regularly attended church with his wife and daughters for years.

But shameful, shadowy attackers have been lying about Barack’s religion, claiming he is a Muslim instead of a committed Christian. When people fabricate stories about someone’s faith to denigrate them politically, that’s an attack on people of all faiths.” – Read it here

Well, to be a christian does not actually mean you follow Jesus, this is the first point. Jesus said you should not swear, but he did. Regularly attending a church also does not mean you are following Jesus. Claiming that this attack on Obama is an attack on all faith shows he has no problem having with other faiths. Though it is clearly stated in the holy scriptures that there is one god and one faith.

Now let’s look at the faith section at barackobama.com, I cite:

“(Obama’s speech on faith) may be the most important pronouncement by a Democrat on faith and politics since John F. Kennedy’s Houston speech in 1960 declaring his independence from the Vatican…Obama offers the first faith testimony I have heard from any politician that speaks honestly about the uncertainties of belief.”

— E.J. Dionne, Op-Ed., Washington Post, June 30, 2006

“In June of 2006, Senator Obama delivered what was called the most important speech on religion and politics in 40 years. Speaking before an evangelical audience, Senator Obama candidly discussed his own religious conversion and doubts, and the need for a deeper, more substantive discussion about the role of faith in American life.

Senator Obama also laid down principles for how to discuss faith in a pluralistic society, including the need for religious people to translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values during public debate. In December, 2006, Senator Obama discussed the importance of faith in the global battle against AIDS”

To speak about uncertainties of faith? Can you repeat that? May be I have a different scripture but what I read says faith of the certainty of faith. Odd.

Obama and his campaign suggests us to see this video, so let’s check it out:

Ok, we learnt that the school Obama attended in Indonesia was not focusing on religion but the headmaster admitted they respect all faith and there are Muslims though about Allah, and Christians though about Jesus as their saviour. So which one?

Now let’s look at the church what Obama attended about what he said he regularly attended, here is a video:

Did you see the faith in his motions and eyes? And that what naughty words he uses? I mean it is not the bad thing to be against America and its sins but to speak like a gangster? And not to even mention his face expressions and jumping and moving body that shows he has demons. Not one but many. They sing in their nice dress nice songs but it’s nothing to do with following Jesus, this is a simple and very odd church, that Jesus calls harlot. Because of compromises and being involved in the worldly matters.

Now let’s look at what Barack Obama responded to Jeremiah Wright’s statements, and a mixture of some speeches of the “pastor”:

He wrote the book “The Audacity of Hope” that is inspired by his pastor Jeremiah Wright. This “pastor” brought Barack to Jesus, made his marriage ceremony with his wife, and baptized his daughters. I say again baptized his daughters, one is 10 the other one is 7 years old. Do you capture that? A man of hate “baptizes” children before they could decide. I don’t think a 10 year old and 7 year old girl is ready to be baptized, and this is their age now but who knows at what time were they really baptized by this “pastor”.

Hope you got it…
