Living in Bablyon does not mean you cannot survive

We are truly living in the age of the harlot, the mystery religion, Babylon. This is a world religion, the unity of all mankind, peace and security, “love”, pleasure, and sex. Babylon is the fallen away Christianity, churchianty and all other faith and magic.
1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. 2 And King Nebuchadnezzar sent word to gather together the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 3 So the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered together for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4 Then a herald cried aloud: “To you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages,… – Daniel 3
Peoples, nations, and languages. That means the whole world! Before the tower of Babylon would be finished god confused mankind with many different languages so that they were not able to communicate and could not finish the tower. So Nebuchadnezzar, was a world ruler over every nation, language and people.
15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. – Revelation 17
Isn’t it interesting? God showed to Daniel the same thing, he and his fellows had to live in a similar era as us, so we can learn from them.
…5 that at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music,… – Daniel 3
So there was music as an instrument for making people into trance so that they might obey. Music is also an instrument to touch the soul and spirit, thus the music industry of today is so dirty with sexuality, drug, addiction and the devil. Again a similarity here:
22 The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. – Revelation 18
So take care what music you listen to. Music is used to brainwash and make you satisfied to make you obey.
Worship of Babylon: The world leader made his idol, his god to be worshiped by everyone on earth, so he used the religion as a tool to make people obey. He was literally let the harlot (religion) ride on him in order to reach his own aim – to rule.
3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast… – Revelation 17
Again a very similar episode: the harlot on the beast, the religion used as tool for a world leader to feed the soul of the people. That means religion is the accessory of the devil! Religion is not of god. Religion is a state of wrong confidence that you are justified and it also acts as a position. Religion is to go to church, to be member of religious organizations, believe in in things that do not live, in men (including you yourself) rather than in god. Every church, let it be catholic, baptist, lutheran, charismatic, evangelic – whatever – is a religion, thus works as a tool of the devil. Take care what I say because it is true! All you who attend the nice Sunday worship service, the Saturday choir, the Wednesday prayer meeting you obey the devil. The truthful worship of god is to obey him every day (not only on Sundays) and be part of the ONE BODY of saints in your locality. This is the only thing can save you from the age you are living in.
8 Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came forward and accused the Jews. 9 They spoke and said to King Nebuchadnezzar, “O king, live forever! 10 You, O king, have made a decree that everyone who hears the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, shall fall down and worship the gold image; 11 and whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. 12 There are certain Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego; these men, O king, have not paid due regard to you. They do not serve your gods or worship the gold image which you have set up.” – Daniel 3
These people were betrayed, just as Jesus foretold us that it will happen to us as well. Be ready to die for the lord, your lord, if he is really your lord. You say it is far, I we still have time… I say: No! And I mean it. He will come when you don’t expect it, this is what he said.
12 Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 13 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. – Mark 13
9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.
Are you ready to be hated, betrayed, tortured and killed? If you are a true disciple you say: yes! So endure till the end. What if you don’t endure? Will you lost your citizenship in heaven? Of course, otherwise why Jesus did say “BUT he who endures…” that means who does not endure will not be saved! Do I tell you a different teaching than your pastor? I hope so.
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar, in rage and fury, gave the command to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. So they brought these men before the king. 14 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the gold image which I have set up? 15 Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?”
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego did not obey the word of the king. You must learn to disobey! It might sound strange but I know what I’m saying because god gives me these words to write down. You shall obey god and it is written that you shall obey the authorities, right?
1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. – Romans 13
But not in case the obedience towards the authority causes you to disobey god! Lots of Christians are astray and think they should obey every rule set by the government because they are the authority set by god and it is written in the bible. But not every order of the authority is set by god. I give you an advice: don’t read the bible. Let the word go into your heart and let the holy spirit teach you everything you need in this new life. Be logic and use your mind!
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. 18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”
And they did not, risking their life. They DISOBEYED! Dare to say no and to disobey.
19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. 20 And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
Such a fire that even consumes those who took them to the bakery! But they were not burned…
24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?”
They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”
25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
Angels are looking after you! Be confident, god does not let you alone he surrounds you with his holy angels lest you hit your leg into a stone.
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. 27 And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them. – Daniel 3
They had no harm at all, not even on their hair or on their body, even the smell of smoke or fire was not felt on them – this is how faith works. So you see that faith without acts is nothing. Because of your righteous act you will be hated.
17 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. 18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost. – Luke 21
Not only their hair was saved but because of their righteous act they influenced a whole empire by showing the king that their god is the only real god.
28 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! 29 Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”
So take courage and continue in the good faith of the lord Jesus the anointed of god and have peace in your mind because you are a wonderful child of god who has nothing to fear!
God be with your spirit,
Barnabas
