Yahusha the Anointed King is the Law: the Way, Truth and Life

Faith matters

Christianity (Churchianity) believes that the Law as abolished by Yahusha on the cross. Nothing is further from the truth. Not only did he not abolish the Law, but he is the Law. If he abolished the Law he abolished himself.

The Word became flesh

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. Without him was not anything made that has been made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

John 1:1-4

John declares that the Word was God. But who is the Word?

The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:14

It's clear that John is talking about Yahusha who lived among them who is the Father's only son.

How was the word in the beginning?

God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Genesis 1:3

When he said "let there be light" these were God's Words. And since the Word is Yahusha he was there in the beginning. When God opens his mouth to speak what comes out is his Word, which is Yahusha. This Word (Yahusha) became flesh and lived among the disciples.

So then, the Word (Yahusha) is God because "the Word was God".

In my post Yahuah, Yahusha and the Set Apart Spirit is God, and they are one I go into more detail about this topic.

Here is a portion from the Law:

God spoke all these words, saying, “I am Yahuah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
You shall have no other gods before me.

- Exodus 20:1-3

You shall not murder.
“You shall not commit adultery.
“You shall not steal.

- Exodus 20:13-15

When Yahuah opened his mouth to speak, it was Yahusha (The Word of God) coming out.

When Yahuah said "I am Yahuah your God" - it was Yahusha (The Word of God).

When Yahuah said "You shall have no other gods before me." - it was Yahusha (The Word of God).

When Yahuah said "You shall not murder." - it was Yahusha (The Word of God).

When Yahuah said "You shall not commit adultery" - it was Yahusha (The Word of God).

When Yahuah said "You shall not steal." - it was Yahusha (The Word of God).

Therefore, When Yahuah uttered all the words of the Law - it was Yahusha (The Word of God).

--

To put it simply, this is what we learned:

The Word of God = Yahusha

The Law was coming out of Yahuah's mouth = Yahusha (Word of God)

The Law = Yahusha

But if this is not convincing enough let's see some more witnesses.

He is the Way

Yahusha said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

- John 14:6

To his Hebrew audience, it was probably more apparent than to us that the Law (Torah) is the way. The Law was their way of life, it was the way to live.

Yahuah confirms this by Moses:

And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do.

Exodus 18:20

David in his Psalm also confirms that the Law is the way:

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to Yahuah’s law.

- Psalms 119:1

Now we know that the Law is the Way. The Law shows us the Way we should live. It shows us the Way to worship Yahuah. It shows us the Way that leads to blessing.

“Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and narrow is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it.

- Matthew 7:13-14

He is the truth

Yahusha said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

John 14:6

Again, to his Hebrew audience, it was probably more apparent than to us that the Law (Torah) is truth. The Law was their truth of life, it was the truth to live.

David confirms this:

Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness.
Your law is truth.

- Psalms 119:142

And David confirms this once again:

You are near, Yahuah.
All your commandments are truth.

- Psalms 119:151

Now we know that the Law is the Truth. The Law shows us the truth because it shows us what sin is and what isn't.

He is life

Yahusha said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

John 14:6

Once again, to his Hebrew audience, it was probably more apparent than to us that the Law (Torah) is Life. The Law was their life.

Yahuah confirms this by Moses:

Behold, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and evil. For I command you today to love Yahuah your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahuah your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it. But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce to you today, that you will surely perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you pass over the Jordan to go in to possess it. I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your descendants; to love Yahuah your God, to obey his voice, and to cling to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days; that you may dwell in the land which Yahuah swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

- Deuteronomy 30:15-20

He said to them, “Set your heart to all the words which I testify to you today, which you shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is no vain thing for you; because it is your life, and through this thing you shall prolong your days in the land, where you go over the Jordan to possess it.”

- Deuteronomy 32:46-47

King Solomon also confirms this:

The law of the wise is a fountain of life,To turn one away from the snares of death.

- Proverbs 13:14

Now we know that the Law is Life. The Law shows us the way to live because it shows us the standards of Yahuah we should live by.

No one comes to the Father except through the Law (Yahusha)

Yahusha said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

John 14:6

Yahusha was our Passover Lamb who died for our sins (breaking of the Law) and so he made us clean from all our sins (breaking of the Law).

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Yahusha the Anointed King, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 1:7

If Yahusha died for our sins (breaking of the Law) so that we can come to the Father, it makes sense that we can come to the Father when we don't sin (breaking of the Law).

Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness. You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin. Whoever remains in him doesn’t sin. Whoever sins hasn’t seen him and doesn’t know him.
Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever is born of God doesn’t commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can’t sin, because he is born of God.

1 John 3:4-9

Yahusha is the Law (which points out what sin is and what isn't) through which we have access to the Father. We have access to the Father through the Law (Yahusha). The Law (Yahusha) is the Way, Truth and Life. If we walk in his Ways, keep the Truth we have Life

It pleased Yahuah, for his righteousness’ sake, to magnify the law,
and make it honorable.

- Isaiah 42:21
